We are thankful for the reduced number of officers shot and shot/killed this year but are amazed at the hate spewed in the comments.

FACT: There may be more dangerous jobs, i.e. logging and king crab fishermen BUT trees don’t attack loggers and crabs don’t kick fishermen off the boat.

Police officers are THE leading profession for violence from others. BTW, assaults against LEO’s last year was at a ten year high!
