SWAT officers face intense physical and psychological demands, and often train for, and achieve high physical fitness. But how does this impact their stress response? In my latest research, we explored heart rate variability (HRV) 🫀 in SWAT operators after firearms training and obstacle course challenges. The results suggest HRV might offer new insights into managing their stress and performance. 📊💪
